RUMM (Remote Utility Monitoring & Management) Limited was founded in 2005 as a result of a spin-out from the University of Glamorgan.
Following four years of pre-concept work in conjunction with the University, the company has remained based in South Wales, with the University supporting RUMM both as an equity stakeholder and research partner.
This allows RUMM to carry out cutting edge analysis and forecasting techniques on an ongoing basis, via a number of post-graduate positions.
RUMM now has over 50 clients worldwide benefitting from its energy management services and has a proven track record in delivering double digit energy savings across a range of private and public sectors including manufacturing, hotels, the NHS and Higher Education (academia).
The focus for each client is to reduce utility usage and costs by lowering energy consumption. Following an initial Consultation and Planning session (CaP) with our professional Energy Account Managers, we provide our clients with customised online utility information using the powerful RUMM Internet Based Analytical Software Suite (IBASS).
Each Energy Account Manager is in turn supported by Data Analysts who focus on areas of opportunity on an ongoing basis, ensuring your business is constantly reviewed and new opportunities for savings are presented to you.
RUMM prides itself on being a reliable professional service provider, building personal relationships with all our clients over a long and sustained period.
Continually demonstrating that the RUMM methodology goes above and beyond traditional automatic monitoring and targeting (aM&T) approaches can be seen in our case studies.
