RUMM Limited is a spinout company from the University of Glamorgan . The technology was developed at the University, with support from the Welsh Development Agency. We trialed the utility measurement technology at several organisations and when we achieved savings of 20% on an energy bill of �1.2 million, we knew we were onto a bright idea. We are based in South Wales and provide our service to companies throughout the UK and Europe .
We provide as full an energy/utility service as our clients want; ranging from fuel purchasing, meter installation, advanced monitoring and targeting to the project management of engineering and IT solutions. Our focus is to reduce utility costs by energy reduction. We provide our customers with customised online utility information and work with them to reduce their costs and ensure they remain low. We help our customers reduce energy consumption and improve their environmental position, enabling them to utilise carbon trading.
We are a professional service provider, which means building personal relationships with our customers. We work with our customers, employing the most appropriate technology to gain outstanding results.

Steve Lloyd

Steve is a co founder of RUMM and holds a PhD in the thermodynamics area and was a practising energy manager. Head of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glamorgan, Steve heads up all the technical analysis for each site and looks at research in the energy field and writes associated papers. |

Steve is a co founder of RUMM and is a chartered mechanical engineer whose area of expertise is industrial and project management. Steve ensures all commercial aspects of RUMM are dealt with from a Sales and Marketing perspective and takes care of strategic direction for the business. |

Jamie Watkins

Jamie is a co founder of RUMM and has a first degree in electrical engineering and a Masters in computer science. Jamie drives the business forward at an executive level and ensures excellent service delivery to all clients. Jamie has been at the forefront of setting up RUMM International to expand our unique offer to the global marketplace.
