RUMM Golf Day took place at Bryn Meadows. A great day was had by all and it went on long into the night in the city of Cardiff. After much scrutiny last years winner John from RPC played of 15 and won it again! However there was another winner too — well done Steve Woods from Hodge Bakshi our Tax partner who also scored 31 points, well done both.

University of Glamorgan are No. 4 in the UK for environment

RUMM has contributed for University of Glamorgan's high profile environmental award; as a result of this the University of Glamorgan has been awarded fourth best in UK for its environmental policies in a new ‘Green League' of universities published in the Times Higher Education Supplement (THES).

Institute of Directors

Miles Templeton, Director General of the Institute of Directors visited the University of Glamorgan in March to explore how the two organisations can work more closely together to encourage enterprise in the South Wales region.

Our Technical Director and Chairman after a long application process secures a CASE award which allows a graduate PhD to research pattern recognition on utility profiles guided by a number of professors at the University of Glamorgan — this was a very competitive process and only three are secured in any one year. This advancement will be fed back into the unique RUMM web based software suite.
